GENERAL INFO
Typically our sign shapes have their roots in the Classic New England style, with elegant, simple and clean lines. Though not a firm rule, most of the larger signs have a border in a contrasting or complementary colour to the interior colour. Usually, these colours are divided by a carved gold inline. The name and number shingles are one colour with a gold perimeter cove.
As you will note from the many sign photos provided our style or ‘look’ is simple, clean and legible. Our signs grab your attention while never failing to do their job.
HELPFUL HINTS
If there is to be gold leaf text, remember gold is most effective on a dark colour. Also try to avoid too much gold, as it can be overpowering-especially on commercial or professional signs. Gold then should be used for decoration and graphics, not the main message.
Our graphic and illustration selection is really infinite. I avoid clip art and use actual photos to create images and illustration subjects. Certainly your photos are welcome. The silhouettes and illustrations mentioned in the order form are suggestions and by no means the only thing we do.
Bear in mind that the graphic/illustration must suit the sign shape. Some shapes have an elongated space, some round, some even triangular. Avoid square peg and round hole.
We can also reproduce logos. A computer file for a PC in EPS or AI is most desirable. If not available a black and white laser copy should work (full page is best).
I will not hesitate to tell you if I feel the shape ordered does not suite the text or message. Often, a totally new shape is called for to fit the text. This is not an additional cost as we do charge by the square foot.
One more thing: Nothing is absolute. If a sign size or shape is not quite right, or needs to be re-configured to fit its location, this is easily done. The price will be adjusted up or down accordingly. This would be considered a semi-custom sign."

section on this page and find the type of sign you would like to order.
2. Click on the link provided underneath the picture of the sign and you will be taken to an
order form for that type of sign.
3. Complete the order form online.
We also provide a printer friendly version of each
order. You can find this link on each of the order
form pages. Just print out, complete and mail or fax
to us.
NOTE: NO DESIGN WORK WILL COMMENCE WITHOUT AT
LEAST A 50% DEPOSIT.
We take VISA but not Mastercard.
note: this is not a secure server therefore it would not be wise to give your VISA # by email. If you wish to make a deposit by VISA, please ask Medie to call you, or fax the number to her. There is just Medie in the office so, no one else will have access to private information. Conversely, if you wish to send a cheque, also let us know in the comment section so we'll be looking for it in the mail.
4. Once we receive a deposit from you, a computer
generated scaled drawing will be developed. You
must approve this prior to production.

We have a custom design service which generally means we start from scratch
and work with the customer to create an original look.

SHIPPING
We ship across North America. Shipping outside of Ontario is based on weight and distance.
The customer is responsible
for any local state or provincial tax owing as well
as any duty (current duty to U.S.: 1%). If not prepaid,
the sign will be shipped COD. Any sign under $400.00 must be prepaid in full. We guarantee
our work and insure all shipments.
